Parent’s Feedback

  • “What we liked the most as new parents, is we didn’t have to learn what to
child proof after an accident happened. You were preventative in a way only the experienced
    can be.

  • “knowledgeable and friendly… Jay helped me completely babyproof my home and
helped make it a safe environment for my four kids…”

Sharp Corners…Get Them Out Of There!

Nothing like padding, padding and more padding.

Of course, we don’t want you to turn your house into a padded cell. Address What Is Glaring. Fireplace edges of stone, brick, tile and slate should all be padded immediately. If possible, corners and edges made of metal, glass and sharp wood should be moved out. Make an end table out of a coffee table, then you have just one corner to pad.

WATCHOUT!! for the underside of counter tops, as your child gets a little taller. You can mount your edge cushion “bottoms up” to prevent any head bumps here. Unfortunately, Radiator cover makers still think sharp corners are “in”. WE ALSO LOVE those big padded Ottomans.

IF YOU WANT TO PAD YOUR CORNERS:

  • Table Shield :Table Shield stretches all the way around your table with NO sticky tape and comes in beige, grey and black.
  • Corner Cushions: Corner Cushions and edge cushion come in all kinds of thicknesses and colors. Chances are your child will try to work off a lonely corner cushion. If you’ve used Velcro you can just push it back on.
  • See the DIY Tips when adhering anything that needs to stick. The Coach recommends using strong Velcro instead of the double-sided tape that comes with most of these kits.
